Have you ever wondered what your body constitution is and how it affects your health and well-being? Last Friday (25 August 2023), we celebrated TGIF with health enthusiasts for a session of Modern Herbal Tea Masterclass and a rejuvenating Yin Yoga session held at the beautiful Oasia Hotel Downtown (@StayOasia), generously supported by their sponsorship as the venue partner.

This media event combined the art of herbal tea blending & tasting, photo booth fun, and a calming session of Yin yoga to create an unforgettable experience centered around wellness and self-discovery.

The day kicked off with an enlightening session on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the 9 body constitutions. Led by a TCM Physician Tricia Yeo, guests gained valuable insights into their own constitutions, helping them understand their bodies on a deeper level. This knowledge empowers individuals to make more informed choices about their health and lifestyle.

After gaining a deeper understanding of their body constitution, guests were led on a journey through the art of tea blending. With a vast selection of herbs and botanicals at their disposal, attendees got creative, experimenting with different flavors and aromas. This hands-on experience allowed them to customize their herbal blends to cater to their specific constitution and personal preferences.

Following the tea blending workshop, guests indulged in a delightful tea tasting session. They got the chance to savor a variety of Kin Teck Tong’s own concocted range of HealthTeas, ranging from Energizer Tea, BeauTea, Digest Tea, and Goodnight Tea. 

As the day drew to a close, guests were invited to unwind and rejuvenate their minds and bodies with a calming session of Yin yoga. Led by a skilled instructor, the participants embarked on a series of gentle poses, held for longer periods of time, promoting deep relaxation and personal introspection. The soothing atmosphere of the Oasia Hotel Downtown provided the perfect backdrop for this rejuvenating activity, creating a sense of tranquility and peace.
